Terms of service
The agreement between you and Nordbrief. Written in plain language, not legalese.
These terms reflect how we actually operate. If there is ever a conflict between this document and a longer legal version, the simpler one prevails.
By using Nordbrief, you agree to these terms. If you use Nordbrief on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation.
Nordbrief provides grant management tools for civic organisations. Specifically:
- Funder research and matching tools
- Grant writing and collaboration workspace
- Budget tracking and reporting
- Organisational memory and document storage
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms or pose a security risk.
Seed plans are free for organisations under €30k annual turnover. Paid plans bill monthly or annually. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the billing period. No refunds for partial months.
Nordbrief is provided as-is to the extent permitted by law. We are not liable for lost grants, missed deadlines, or decisions made by funders. Our maximum liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the preceding 12 months, or €100 if you use the free plan.
You may delete your account at any time. We may terminate service with 30 days notice for paid accounts, or immediately for abuse, fraud, or legal obligation. Your data belongs to you; we provide export tools before deletion.
These terms are governed by the laws of Finland. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Helsinki.
We may update these terms. Material changes require 30 days notice via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
