Deliberate pace
Shipping once a week beats a stack of half-done ideas. Better to say no to features than ship something that ages badly.
Nordbrief is built by one person, under Impact Node — a small Helsinki company that builds deliberate software for European civic life.
I spent years working inside and around Finnish civic-society organisations. I watched good people lose weekends to grant paperwork, forget funders they'd worked with for a decade the moment a key staffer left, and inherit spreadsheets instead of institutional memory.
Nordbrief is the tool I wished existed then. I'm building it slowly, on purpose, with a small group of pilot organisations. No investors to please. No team to staff against. No roadmap I haven't personally agreed to. Just the work, and the organisations helping me shape it.
The software is operated by Impact Node, my company. Impact Node builds focused tools for European civic infrastructure — Nordbrief is the first. If you want to know more about the approach, or you'd like to pilot, please get in touch.

The roadmap is shaped by four pilot organisations' real work, not investor decks or product-led growth playbooks.
